      GIFTS

You give but little when you give your possessions, 

It is when you give of your heart that you truly give

           To your enemy – FORGIVENESS.                          To an opponent – TOLERANCE.                             To a friend - YOUR HEART.                              To a customer – SERVICE.                                To all people – CHARITY.                                                              To every child – A GOOD EXAMPLE.                                                 To yourself – RESPECT.

 If instead of a gem or even a flower we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend.  That would be giving as the angels give.   George   McDonald          

Rings and jewels

are not gifts                            But apologies for gifts.   

The only gift is a portion of thyself.

        

                              OPEN HANDS    

                 Open hands and open open heart are all you really need
                     To add a little sunshine to someone else's day.
                     Let them see inside of you and be touched by what they find.
                     The love of Christ just waiting to flow through.

                     A little child is crying, a mother is afraid.
                     A father is alone and wondering what to do.
                     Let them see inside of you and be touched by what they find.
                     The love of Christ just waiting to flow free.

                     Grandma and Grandpa are feeling old and tired,
                     They need someone to take some time for them.
                     So let them see inside of you and be touched by what they find.
                     The love of Christ just waiting to flow free.

                     Open hands and an open heart are all you really need
                     To put a smile upon a face and change somebody's heart.
                     For when hey look inside of you they'll be touched by what they find
                     The love of Christ just waiting to flow free.

                     Giving love isn't something that's really hard to do
                     If you just take time to be there when someone wants to be with you.
                     You don't have to talk, just have an ear or two arms if the need be
                     Give of yourself and be open to God and your love it will flow free.
