MEDITATIONS FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON - Page 4

WHAT TO DO AT CHRISTMAS

* Hail the BIRTH OF CHRIST     * Include the LORD in your                              celebrations.

*CATCH UP with estranged friends and family.

* RECEIVE WITH THANKS, every gift, no matter what.

* SEEK OUT those in need of a friend.

* TAKE TIME TO REST - you'll need it for the new year.

*Be assured, `GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU.'

celebrating the life of Jesus Christ

This message is for a special Christian writer and mentor - and although we have never met, I would like to call Rick and his wife Kay, my friends. This year they will be celebrating Christmas without their son, but but I am sure they will still remember the true purpose of this celebration as he shared in his book:

"* GOD LOVES YOU.    * GOD IS WITH YOU.  * GOD IS FOR YOU." 1

There may be some tears - there often is for me at Christmas, for as you know, a lot of my family are in heaven celebrating. Many of you may be alone with family in another city or country.  You may not have a job or money to to spend on Christmas presents this year. But, you still have reason to CELEBRATE.

"Do not be afraid.  I bring you GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY that will be for
ALL PEOPLE.  Today in the town of David, a SAVIOUR has been born for you."
                                                                                   Luke 2:10 &11  (NIV)

"It doesn't matter who you are, what you have done, where you've been or where you're going.

                                             GOD LOVES YOU!

                                            GOD IS WITH YOU!

                                            GOD IS FOR YOU!"  1

                                SO CELEBRATE!!!!
